The couple (Malia and David) is raising their children in suburbia, in the still-free United States. Life is good. But they have misjudged the ADF’s zeal to exact revenge for David’s defection. As they are pulled back into the DJR, Malia and David realize only they can help those trapped inside the country to find freedom.
Malia fights the implacableresolve of ADF Commander Paragon to win her over to Diversity. David begins organized the oppressed Deplorables against the government, while struggling with his attraction to their passionate leader Lucy. David vows to prevent Malia’s forced wedding to Paragon, giving the Deplorables their first chance to strike back at the heart of Diverse Power.
